More Utah

I'm lagging a bit on the video. Here are some photos.

Dreaming Gordon.

Awww... Poor Evan.

I have a bad habit of always trying to watch the action without looking through the camera. I botched this photo of Eric Fernandez pretty badly.

Eric looks like he's about to poison Harrison's chili dog. Harrison has a raging clue.

Big Ev

Here are some pictures off of Evan LeFebvre's memory card from these last two days while ripping around Brighton.

We can't read. Gabe L'Heureux, Ryan Thompson, and myself.

Here's Gabe slashing some pow. I know it doesn't look like an especially great spray, but it definitely grew and grew until Evan was completely barreled.

Evan and I were competing for the scenic shots while everyone else hiked out of the lake. It got pretty intense... I photo shopped out my gun.

I put my camera away for a moment to ollie. I'm riding a 162, it's an ego thing.

Big Mountain Mike livin' it up before the glory fades and the extremely flat landing makes it's presence undeniable. Hopefully he won't ruin his right hand so he can keep banging out Ashbury's designs.

Boardin' Gordon stalefish on St. Patty's Day.

Dinner

Harrison, Mike, and Evan ready to enjoy some Totinos. Yeah, so what? We hate that commercial too.

Millsy Killing it with Some Nice Photographs

I just walked back into Harrison's cave from shredding pow all day. And I check my email to see Josh Mills sent me photos from his Canada trip and some hellafied landscape shots, I'm always happy to get photos from people's trips. I still have my boots on.

The People crew getting ready to sledneck it up.

See my house? Right down there to the left.

Josh's handsome shot.

Russell Dalby, he's from Sendersville.

Josh really out did himself with all these landscapes. This is on his drive to Portland.

Bryan Fox, Louie Fountain, Shaun McKay, and Russel Dalby enjoying a chat.

Josh and McKay look kinda gangsterous. I'd shoot them.

Sicamous.

Sunrise at Sanora Pass.

Topaz Lake.

Utah Utah Utah

As pathetic as this sounds, today was my first pow day of the season. I'll get some more this weekend though. I love Utah. I love Brighton. We're working on an Elph movie as well, we'll post it tomorrow.

Boardin' Gordon.

Evan LeFebvre, Blogaholic, and Boardin' Gordon lifting.

Big Mountain Mike.

Beautiful mountains. When I lived in Utah this was littered with jumps.

Now everyone has snowmobiles.

Danimal

I just arrived in Salt Lake and Harrison showed me this amazing sponsor-me video. It just made my night, let it make yours.

Matt, Ryan, and Bob

Matty Ryan is in Canada right now. He's trying to hang there for as long as he can he says and will update us with some images. Bob Plumb shot this photo, you may have heard of his brother Lizard King (the skateboarder, not Jim). Bob takes nice photos, I think the Plumb bloodline is a talented one.

Jordan Schools

Transworld's making another trick tip movie and Justin Meyer was with Jordan Mendenhall and some other snowboarders out in Park City this week shooting. Jordan's going to teach you switch frontside 540s.

Jordan about to teach you switch 540s, then straight to rob a bank. Absolute gangsterism.

And this is why I left Jordan out of the halfpipe contest poll. He's just too good at it. Who knows maybe one of these guys is a sleeper pipe jock, I've seen Nima do alley-oop mctwists. Backside rodeo.

I'd speed check before I went fast enough to go that high.

Woah, look at that boarder in the background... wait.... That's a skier. Check out that skier about to land backwards.

Now you've learned switch frontside 540s, just be careful and work your way up.

Skates and Dates

Nick Dirks is in Canada right now gettin' busy for the new Transworld Video coming out this fall, These Days. Him and Joe Carlino will have some photos for us soon. In the meantime Nick sent me some photos of him and his boy Jarad Hadi skatin' and datin'.

Jarad's from Oregon, of course he can skate tranny.

Here Jarad is doing an impersonation of a someone jumping on a pogo stick.

Does anyone think that door in the background is unusually small? Nick and Jarad.

With that look and that shirt, she digs him.

Now this is what I'm talking about. Nick dropping hammers.

Even Jarad can't keep his filthy paws off of Nick's sexiness.

(While proof-reading this I'm listening to 'Spinning Wheel' by Blood, Sweat & Tears and it makes it just that much more enjoyable. If you look at this blog with any sort of regularity you'd realize how unsuccessful my proof-reading often is. My brother Mike and Desiree Melancon always call me out..)

Artsy Flight

Desiree Melancon was flying from Calgary to Toronto on her way to Montreal. Yes I know, very foreign lands. And being the artist Desiree is she made a drawing of a horse girl. Desiree loves fantasy stuff.

She'd be pretty if she weren't such a horse.

Male Giraffe.

Desiree's friend Raewyn Reid also made a picture. Old Greg! If you've somehow gone this long without seeing Old Greg then look him up on Youtube. Just type Old Greg.
